When the New Orleans Saints Saints couldn’t agree on a contract extension for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Roseman made another trade, landing the eventual league leader in interceptions (6) despite missing five games with a lacerated kidney for a late-round pick.

Fully knowing Jalen Hurts needed another outside weapon to pair with DeVonta Smith, Roseman acquired A.J. Brown from Tennessee after they couldn’t agree with the former Ole Miss star on a contract extension.

Philadelphia promptly signed Brown to a four-year, $100 million contract that paid off immediately.

Add in the selection of Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens and Nakboe Dean, and the Eagles are primed for sustained excellence.
