In a court of law, Amal Clooney would be declared the most glamorous lawyer of all time.
The superstar human rights attorney stepped out in New York Thursday night alongside husband George Clooney, clad in a glittering black sequined Elie Saab dress ($3,695) and gold-dipped Balmain heels.
The “Ocean’s Eleven” actor kept it casual in light-washed dad jeans and a navy polo shirt, with the stunning couple looking like they were going to two different events. (In fact, they were both headed to dinner at downtown hotspot Locanda Verde.)
This isn’t the first time Amal, 44, has amped up the glam while George, 61, looked low-key.
The leggy lawyer often looks like she’s stepped right off a runway in her beautiful designer dresses and accessories, while the “Ticket to Paradise” star sticks to the basics.
Earlier this month in London, Amal rocked a yellow sequined Stella McCartney dress ($1,042, originally $4,200) while George again donned denim.
But that’s definitely not the case on the red carpet, where the Casamigos founder always shows up and out in dapper tuxedos and suave suits.
George, who famously wined and dined many a Hollywood starlet for decades before settling down, was introduced to Amal by friends at a dinner party in 2013.
They married in an elaborate Venice ceremony in 2014, with the bride saying “I do” in an Oscar de la Renta gown before changing into a flapper-style dress not unlike her most recent look for the reception.
Now, the couple are proud parents to 5-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, and the “ER” star is clearly dressing the part.
But if anyone can pull off dad jeans, it’s George Clooney.
