Chelan plays at Cascade surrounded by piles of snow

The Goats played tennis Tuesday at Cascade amongst piles of snow still four feet tall and a winter storm warning on the horizon.  I’m now far less bitter about our City of Chelan winter.

Girls: Chelan 5, Cascade 0

#1 Singles:  Arden Paglia def Zienna Erickson 6-2, 6-2

#2 Singles: Piper Grossberg (Che) def Zoey Sheffield 6-3, 6-1

#3 Singles:  Ellie McLemore def Cassidy Gillespie 8-6, 6-1

#1 Doubles:  Olivia Strandberg/Caelan Rothlisberger def Anna Reichlin/Isabella Bentson 6-0, 6-0

#2 Doubles:  Josie Garfoot/Irene Hernandez def Hazel Eschen/Harper Baker 6-1, 7-6 (7-3)

The Chelan girls are now 3-0 in CTL play.  During the current team’s overall four match win streak, they’ve won 18 of the 20 individual matches they’ve played!
