Clemson football has landed a commitment from Sammy Brown, one of the nation’s top high school players.
A five-star recruit, Brown is a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker from Jefferson, Georgia. He’s rated as the top player in Georgia, the top linebacker nationally and the nation’s No. 5 player overall, according to the 247Sports composite.
Brown, who visited Clemson over the weekend, picked the Tigers over offers from four other finalists – Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
Brown announced his decision via social media Monday evening.
