Collin Lee has taken on the role of space business development vice president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), he announced via LinkedIn on Tuesday.
Lee previously worked as VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business and was with the subsidiary for five of his 23-year career, which has revolved around business consulting, defense and intelligence.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in public administration at James Madison University, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as senior consultant. He later got a similar post at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003.
Lee became legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in May 2007. He stayed at ODNI for more than four years before being appointed as director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.
He started his term at GDMS as director of strategy and business development. He was also named director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
