A Dearborn-based company is proving that modesty and style don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
Studious Monday is a clothing company that produces sustainable, contemporary, ready-to-wear clothing for women. Founded by Nawal Alsaeed, the designer focuses on elevating modest wear for women. The brand’s first full collection is available now now.
Alsaeed spoke with CultureShift’s Tia Graham about what inspired her to launch Studious Monday.
“Fashion has always been a part of my identity. Growing up Muslim and proud, I often felt forgotten by the fashion industry,” Alsaeed said. “As a Muslim woman, Studious Monday’s essentially my love letter to my faith and passion for fashion and design.”
