Firmenich President of Global Perfumery Ilaria Resta will visit New York City this week surrounding her acceptance of a sustainability award for Firmenich at
Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars: Artists and Icons on Thursday, October 13.
Resta will be among many other distinguished award recipients which include Christian Siriano for Fashion Star; Prabal Gurung for humanitarian; Elvis Presley for Fashion Oracle;
Dionne Warwick for Trailblazer; Sharon Chuter of Uoma Beauty for Beauty; and LoveShackFancy for Retail.

Resta was named president, global perfumery in March 2020, and is transforming the fine and consumer fragrances business. She is also an active member of
Firmenich’s executive committee.

She has a track record helping business transform crisis into strong success, renewing P&G’s European hair care business and, prior to that, restructuring Duracell business that led to a successful divestiture. As vice president, hair care, North America, Resta delivered the strongest business results in 11 years, growing market share and penetration, increasing revenues and profit, transforming the product portfolio and reinventing retail distribution.
She is an impactful leader in corporate sustainability and has partnered with
Terracycle, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and multiple other organizations focused on social responsibility and diversity programs.
