Arthur Melo humiliated Ben Doak in Liverpool training, to send his teammates into fits.
Arthur has endured a terrible time since making the switch from Juventus to Liverpool on loan in the summer transfer window.
The Brazil international was recruited by Klopp after the Reds suffered several injuries to their midfield.
And while Arthur made his Liverpool debut from the bench in a Champions League defeat to Napoli in September he has since failed to make a single senior appearance, after sustaining an injury in training that needed surgery.
And while the 26-year-old did manage to make the bench against Bournemouth earlier this month, he is still yet to make a Premier League appearance.
Though Liverpool have the option to make Arthur’s loan permanent for £32million, the club are expected to turn their attention to other targets in the summer, namely Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount.
Arthur stunned his Liverpool teammates during a training rondo ahead of the Merseyside club’s weekend encounter with Manchester City.
The Juventus loanee drew Doak to the ball with a seemingly ill-advised touch, before nutmegging the Liverpool youngster.
The Scottish star held his head in disbelief while his teammates celebrated. Indeed, Doak’s compatriot, Andrew Robertson was seen howling with laughter and clapping excitedly at the Brazilian midfielder’s skill.
While Arthur has barely featured for Liverpool he certainly has pedigree, having featured regularly for both Barcelona and Juventus in the past while he has represented Brazil 22 times.
And in an interview earlier this month Arthur’s agent laid bare his client’s struggles this term.
“The last day of the transfer market arrived, he paid for the season in which he played little at Juventus, he was integrating and had an annoying injury for which he had to operate,” Federico Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb.
“It was three months of injury, he made his second bench, I hope he can at least give his contribution. I think he’ll come back from the loan and then we’ll see what to do.”
