Genius Sports Ltd. said Wednesday that it has agreed to settle its legal dispute with SoftConstruct.
As part of this settlement, SoftConstruct has agreed to purchase a multiyear license to supply Genius’s data via its BetConstruct and FeedConstruct channels, with such license acknowledging Genius’s ownership of database rights.

“We are delighted that the SoftConstruct team have recognized this value and we look forward to working in partnership with them as we move forward,” said Jack Davison, Genius Sports’ Chief Commercial Officer.”
In October, Genius Sports resolved litigation with Sportradar Group AG over Genius’s partnership with Football DataCo. The companies said that the resolution enables Football DataCo, or FDC, to license and market FDC data as it determines. Genius Sports will maintain its exclusive right to provide low-latency Official FDC betting data rights through 2024.
