Jennifer Lopez Affleck is getting a jump start on the “new year, new me” of it all. In fact, she’s already got a fresh new haircut, and it’s only been like an hour since Christmas.
The “On the Floor” singer spent her first Christmas as Mrs. Affleck at her beautifully decorated home. In a teal dress with a bow pattern, she posed by a tree decked out with sparkly birds, and explained the special meaning behind her decor in her newsletter.
“To me, hummingbirds are messengers of love,” the Marry Me star wrote in On the JLo, per People. “They’re also the fastest bird but they always have time to stop, eat something sweet and smell the roses. I identify with them, but more than anything whenever I see one, I feel like it’s a sign from God that everything is going to be OK.”

The budding ornithologist continued, “So, I decided this year that the hummingbird would be a perfect theme…We have blended families, doubled the fun, doubled the love, doubled the presents and triple the chaos!!” She also teased a song called “Hummingbird” in her next album, so keep your ears peeled.
For the holiday, Lopez wore her hair pulled back, but we know she’s currently rocking an Old Hollywood-style lob, which stylist Rob Zangardi debuted just ahead of the holidays. Red hot!
