CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois men’s golf program adds Frank Bellino to its 2023 recruiting class. Belino marks the fifth signee of the class for the Salukis.
“We are pleased to welcome Frank to our Saluki Golf family,” said SIU Director of Golf Justin Fetcho. “Frank is still relatively new to competitive golf when you compare him to the rest of his peers in the 2023 class but we believe Frank’s best golf is in front of him.”
Belino played his high school golf in Sarasota, Florida and his career highlights include
“He has the attributes you look for in a student-athlete as he is a hard worker, has good fundamentals, good clubhead speed and wants to play golf at the highest level. We look forward to getting Frank on campus in the fall and watching his golf game continue to grow and improve each and every day in our culture and environment,” said Fetcho.
Frank Bellino joins Leon Heitz, Andrew Watson, Dan Richie, and Oliver Ulrich as signees for the Salukis next season.
