Regner went 2-0 in Doubles and 3-0 in Singles last week as Lander won every match to improve to 12-1 overall. Lander started the week with a 6-1 victory against #43 Newberry, their second win over the Wolves this season. Regner and Matthew De Groot scored 6-2 in doubles and Regner won 6-2, 7-5 in singles. On Friday, the Bearcats defeated #20 North Georgia 4-3. Regner defeated the #6 player in Division II, Joaquin Benoit 0-6, 7-5, 6-2. The last match of the weekend was a 7-0 shutout over #44 Young Harris. Regner again teamed up with De Groot in a 7-5 doubles win. Regner had two straight sets of 6-1 over his opponent that match. The junior from Smalandsstenar, Sweden, improves to 10-0 in singles play this season, all at #1, and 8-0 in doubles play. Regner is ranked #26 in the nation in singles.
