Trust Mini Mathur to always be consistent and committed to her fitness routine. As such, the TV host was seen working out on a weekend morning and completely acing it. Sharing her mantra to keep her spirits high, Mathur expressed, “Unstoppable. Relentless. Invincible. These affirmations are great on paper but to get up from your comfy bed on a Sunday morning to hit the gym while it’s pouring outside needs firm resolve…a craving for reset and a deep commitment to your body.”
According to her, one’s body has an “unbelievable potential”. “My body isn’t as young as my mind or my personality anymore…but I’ll be damned if I give up before I have worked on its unbelievable potential!!! I’ve taken it for granted for way too long and it’s time to put back what I’ve taken. It’s not about size…it’s about being able to run with your pack,” said Mathur, alongside a video post on Instagram that shows her performing high intensity interval training.
She also mentioned that it is highly pertinent for women to “make positive changes in your life… whether it’s fitness, wellness or travel”. “It is the best thing a woman can do in her 40s and 50s. Get up. Let’s go,” shared Mathur.
Quite adept at her fitness outings, Mathur recently revealed that she lost four kilos and gained 1 kg of muscle.

“4 kilos of fat down, 1 kg of muscle up. Stress levels (cortisol) low, happy quotient (dopamine) high. I wish I knew 10 years ago what i know about my body now. There’s no need to give up and resign to ageing, or hormonal setbacks. Turn on your self-care phase and you can reverse anything,” shared Mathur.
Mathur, who turned to fitness and lifestyle changes after struggling with metabolic changes in her body, recalled in an earlier post that she never had to work hard at her fitness. “I could be a foodie… workout normally and still face the camera without a thought. But the 40s and 50s bring about so many metabolic changes in the body. And unless I hit the ground running and commit to beating it… this decade is going to take me down. Mentally, physically and emotionally. Trust me… If you feel and look unfit (And this isn’t about being THIN… I’m talking about strength here), you find yourself thinking like a loser too,” Mathur said.
So, all she looks forward to is to “ski and dive and hike at 70 and outrun @vivaankabir so I have turned my FIGHT MODE ON to have the fittest body I’ve had since I became a mom… some 108 years ago”.
