Dear Reader,
Stay alert for lots of news in this month’s letter, including a free appearance I am doing in New York’s Locust Valley on May 8. Please read this to the end!
This month’s forecasts are very detailed because they are chock full of interesting details. April is no ordinary month! My manuscript for all 12 signs runs 38,711 words—the equivalent of a book! If the average book has 250 words per page, that adds up to a book with 154 pages. I had so much to tell you!
I am not only writing the Astrology Zone monthlies but your daily horoscopes on the app “Astrology Zone Horoscopes” (available as an in-app purchase once downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play). The daily forecast is between 75 and 90 words per sign, per day. I hope you will support me by getting the premium version of my app. That version will give you so much more of my detailed work. My job is to take good care of you and to make your life happier. Every day I strive for that!
In my monthly forecasts I have been alerting you to any aspect that falls on an early date in the FOLLOWING month so you will always be prepared. I included in your April report information about the full moon coming May 1 in Scorpio.
This month starts out with a full moon in Libra, April 1, with Saturn opposed to the full moon and conjunct the Sun, so it is serious and purposeful and brings a strong air of importance and longevity to your actions.
Next we have a magical new moon on April 17 in Aries (27 degrees). This lovely new moon will arrive with her partner, the Sun, and four planets—Neptune, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn. That adds up to six heavenly bodies all crowded into one tiny slice of the horoscope. That is a lot! We rarely see that number of planets in one house. Best of all, powerhouse Pluto will be very friendly to all four planets and send them a golden beam to boost their effectiveness. Those planets will be standing by to help you once you get to April 17 and beyond.
Aries is the sign all these transiting planets will be in, and Aries is all about the bud, freshness, and the rejuvenation of life. It’s an entrepreneurial, brave, and quite a pioneering sign. It seems so fitting that just days ago, with many planets gathering in Aries, that NASA sent four courageous astronauts—three Americans and one Canadian—into space. Watching the takeoff on TV in real time, I had tears in my eyes. How lucky we are to be alive to see the start of this historic adventure. It is so inspirational!
What type of fresh starts are happening in your life, dear Reader? If you don’t have any in mind, you still have time to think about one you would like to begin—something you will be passionate about doing. Wherever you have Aries in your chart (and you do have this sign on one of the cusps of your chart and possibly a planet, too), in that house you can expect a lot of activity and progress. When you read your April forecast, I will tell you precisely where that crowd of planets will be for you and the kind of opportunity you’ll have to move forward.
With so many planets in a fire sign, the pace of the month will be fast! We are moving into a much more beneficial time of the year—I like the aspects coming in May, June, and July very much.
On April 25 we have the biggest news of all. Uranus, the planet of surprise, change, innovation, independence, rebellion, chaos, and creativity will move into Gemini. Last year Uranus gave you a short preview in Gemini from July 7 to November 7 of what type of you experience you might expect, but now he is moving permanently into Gemini—from April 25, 2026, to stay seven years until May 22, 2033.
Everyone has Gemini somewhere in their chart, and this is where you will notice massive change in your life at some point during the coming seven years. Uranus is progressive and futuristic. He instantly will sweep out anything he feels is of no future value in the blink of an eye. I delineate for each sign where this change will occur. See this as an adventure!
The month ends next to another full moon, May 1, in Scorpio. You will start to feel the energy building as you get close to the last two days of the month. This full moon is a peach, for it will get lots of help from Jupiter, the good fortune planet. Pluto will again be cranky, however, and he will try to throw obstacles in your path, but I feel he will be shouted out by Jupiter in Cancer. Pluto will be friendly to surprise-a-minute Uranus (which almost never happens), so you could stumble on a lucky breakthrough that may appear out of the blue .
On another topic, I am excited to announce we have started our 20 percent off Spring Sale of my gorgeous “Year Ahead 2026 Astrological Calendar.” It is now selling for $23.95, discounted from $29.95.
My collectable limited edition calendar is far more beautiful in real life than what you see on the your screen. The rich inks, soft, heavy archival paper, and the artwork that extends down into the calendar grid are very special. My mission is to make you smile when you look at your calendar and be eager to begin each month.
My calendar is unique partly because of the graceful, warm, and fashionable artwork by French illustrator Izak Zenou. We want to congratulate Izak who now has recently been invited to have a regular residency at the elegant Carlyle Hotel in New York. At the Carlyle, once you have a ticket, Izak will sketch you while you have afternoon tea. This is the hotel where Prince William and Catherine stay when visiting. (Other notables come to this hotel too—Jackie Kennedy loved staying at the Carlyle, and as president, her husband, John F. Kennedy, made the Carlyle the “New York White House.”)
In my Year Ahead 2026 calendar I analyze every new moon and full moon, the eclipses, all retrograde planets, as well as every aspect that Ptolemy, the great Hellenistic Greek astrologer who developed the foundations of astrology, considered important and that we still use today. My calendar is chock full of advice—it holds 16,000 words.
Find out about coming months to plan before my monthly forecast is published. If you are planning any event, my calendar will help you choose the perfect day. Cut down on daily frustrations by being informed on the best way to use the day.
