Murfreesboro, TN – Murfreesboro Medical Clinic will remain closed on Tuesday, after announcing that they would be shut down on Monday, May 1, 2023.
The original announcement stated, “All MMC Locations Will Be Closed…” and that the closure was tied to …”proactive measures to update critical infrastructure.” According to an email that was sent from Murfreesboro Medical Clinic to patients, staff throughout the practice are working to re-schedule any missed appointments at this time.
On Monday evening at around 5:30, MMC reported that they would again be closed all day at all locations on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 to continue taking proactive measures to update “critical infrastructure.”
While details have not been released, the term “critical infrastructure” is most often used when referring to computer systems and networks within an organization. When highlighting computers, critical infrastructures are made-up of a body of systems, networks and assets that are so essential to a company or group, that their dedicated operation is required to ensure the security of that organization.
