The service, which can now be booked through nanushka.com, allows UK-based customers to select the type of Nanushka product they want repaired or tailored, describe their specific needs and receive a cost estimate of the service.
As an example, replacing the elastic waistband in a pair of Nanushka trousers costs £34.99, including a £4.99 door-to-door collection and delivery charge.
To celebrate the partnership, Nanushka and Sojo have collaborated on a limited-edition capsule of Nanushka clothing products with visible mending, including a cable-knit jumper with contrast patchwork panelling and a dress with a woven fringe hemline. The collection is available to purchase exclusively at Nanushka’s London flagship store.
Nanushka founder and creative director Sandra Sandor, said: “I am very excited that we are finally able to launch our partnership with Sojo and bring this door-to-door repair and creative mending service to our UK customers.
“Expert partners like Sojo make it easier for conscious customers to extend the lifecycle of our garments, so they can continue to wear and love them for future seasons.”
Sandor founded Nanushka in 2006 in her hometown of Budapest, Hungary. In 2016, the brand entered the international market and is stocked by luxury retailers Liberty, Browns, Selfridges and Net-A-Porter.
In 2020, Nanushka started measuring its environmental impact annually by gathering data from its operations and suppliers, winning the Brand of the Year (>£10m turnover) award at the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards in 2022.
