SEDONA, Ariz. – The North Dakota State women’s golf team is in 16th place after day one at the Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club on Saturday afternoon.
The Bison tallied rounds of 304 and 314 for a two-round total of 618 to be positioned in 16th place in the 20-team tournament. Delaware (290-292–582) sits in the top spot, while Gonzaga (293-295–588) is six strokes back in second place. Grand Canyon (303-287–590) closes out the top three in third place.
Catherine Monty (76-75–151), who notched two birdies in the opening round, paces the Bison tied for 31st place. Madi Hicks (75-79–154) is tied for 52nd place and Elise Hoven (77-78–155) is tied for 60th place. Leah Skaar (76-87–163) sits tied for 98th place and Jo Baranczyk (82-82–164) rounds out the group in 100th place.
