Jennifer Aniston just made a big announcement: She’s partnered with Pvolve, an exercise program that focuses on functional movement and uses resistance-based equipment.
The 54-year-old actress made the announcement on Instagram, alongside video that shows her doing all kinds of workouts while looking next-level strong. There’s Jennifer foam rolling, clutching an exercise ball, doing an impressively flexible back kick, and bouncing around with a resistance band in her arms.
Cut on over to a seriously jacked-looking Jennifer balancing on a board while doing side leg lifts, squatting, doing one-legged hip thrusts, crushing side planks, and then showing off some flexibility with one leg in the air as she sits in a chair.
In the final shot, Jennifer can be seen clapping in a sports bra and leggings as she flashes her super toned abs.
“I’m officially part of the @pvolve fam 🖤 ,” she wrote in the caption. “SO proud to support our female founder and the beyond talented trainers. This is one of my favorite workouts… and I’m so grateful for the team and excited for what’s to come 💪🏼.”
Jennifer told People that she got into Pvolve after seeing a friend have impressive results. “Our minds used to think, we have to hurt; no pain, no gain. It has to be an hour of a workout. You have to work out three times a day,” she said. “With this, you can start gentle. My girlfriend transformed her entire body, and it just had such a beautiful snowball effect in so many positive areas of her life.”
Jennifer said she signed up for a membership and started doing the classes online. “It was so user-friendly, you just start in little tiny chunks, tiny steps,” she said. “And then next thing you know, you’ve done four 20-minute classes because you just want to keep going.”
Of course, Jennifer has been fit since practically forever and she’s been open about working hard to look so strong. Back in February 2022, she shared a hilarious video of herself trying to do a home workout as her dogs got in the way. There’s Jennifer doing kettlebell squats and bicycle crunches as her dogs played all around.
She also casually dropped this video in 2021 of herself doing a side plank and perfectly straight leg lift like it’s nobody’s business.
Jennifer works with Gloveworx founder Leyon Azubuike for training and exercises nearly every day for an hour and a half, Azubuike previously told Women’s Health in 2021. She doesn’t skip workouts, either—Azubuike said they’ve done training sessions as early at 3 a.m. when Jennifer has an early photoshoot or busy day.
Overall, Jennifer mostly focuses on Pilates and Pvolve, but she’ll also do work on the VersaClimber, treadmill or mat work for up to 60 minutes.
Foodwise, Azubuike told WH that he likes his clients to zero in on foods rich in nutrients, like healthy carbs, protein, leafy greens, and a rainbow of vegetables.
Go Jennifer, go!
