This will be the third time Chubb has been named among the league’s elite. He first made the list in 2019, coming in at No. 82, and made another appearance at No. 40 in 2021.
The No. 5 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, At NC State set program career records for tackles for loss and sacks. The defensive end from Marietta, Ga., led the FBS with 26 tackles for loss in 2017 and won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, distinguishing him as the nation’s top defensive player. He was named the 2017 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, was a consensus All-American, and won the Ted Hendricks Award for the best defensive end in college football.
During the 2023 season, in his second year with the Miami Dolphins, Chubb totaled 38 solo tackles, 11 sacks, and six forced fumbles at the linebacker position. The 2024 season will mark Chubb’s eighth year in the league, where he has totaled 73 games, 244 total tackles, 39.5 sacks, 13.5 forced fumbles, and one interception.
