Owners Amo Racing have a fine record with newcomers, regardless of age and who trains them. The most recent qualifier won at odds of 9-1 at Catterick on Friday to take their full record to 36 winners from 154 runners (23.4%) for a profit of £47.73 to the usual £1 stake. NOTTINGHAM 4.15

RUBELLITE (system – William Haggas, Class 6 fillies’ handicaps, turf)

William Haggas doesn’t have many runners in Class 6 fillies’ handicaps on turf but has scored with 15 of the 53 qualifiers this century for a profit of £43.42 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 9.12). RUBELLITE has a wide draw to overcome but the daughter of Iffraaj shaped with promise on her handicap debut at Redcar last month, finishing sixth of 15 from a poor draw, and can be backed to get off the mark this afternoon.
