Wilmington, N.C. — The North Carolina Coaches Association and the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association have announced the players and coaches that were selected the 2023 Carolinas Classic All-Star Basketball Games, sponsored by House of Raeford Farms FLOCK, the non-profit arm of House of Raeford Farms.
The event will take place on March 25. It will feature the top boys and girls basketball players from each state. It will be played at Hoggard High School in Wilmington. Tickets to the games are available now for purchase online and are $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. Proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Corral, a non-profit organization transforming the lives of children of wounded and fallen military heroes.
“We are honored to have the best high school basketball student-athletes from our states come to Wilmington to not only compete at a high level in their respective games, but to be involved in outreach activities that touch youth and adults in the community,” said Shell Dula and Phil Weaver, executive directors of the South Carolina and North Carolina Coaches’ Associations, respectively in a statement released to HighSchoolOT.
Beyond the game and practices, the student-athletes will participate in community service events, including visiting the rehab center at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center and multiple New Hanover County elementary schools.
