No. 3 Hong Kong Harry (7-2) won four of five starts since arriving in this country this year. The fresh gelding exits a sharp late running victory in the Del Mar Mile on Sept. 3, and Flavien Prat is 2-for-2 with him. He fired a local turf bullet for this on Nov. 20, and Phil D’Amato is enjoying a banner meet.
No. 8 Set Piece (4-1) was freshened after just missing the show in the Turf Mile at Keeneland. Brad Cox’s multiple stakes winner should be heard from late under his new pilot Juan Hernandez.
No. 7 Irideo (10-1) won the local Wickerr Stakes over the summer and followed that up with a good runner-up finish in the Del Mar Mile. He can spice up the exotics under quality turf rider Hector Berrios.
