The following items were taken from the Skokie Police Department bulletin. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Domestic Battery
Michael Charles Neil, 25, of the 2200 block of East 97th Street, Chicago, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road on May 16.
Elayna L. Berger, 35, of the 4000 block of Grove Street, Skokie, was arrested for domestic battery in the 4000 block of Grove Street on May 17.
Retail theft
Deivy A. Arenas Valencia, 28, of the 4800 block of North Monticello Avenue, Chicago, was arrested for retail theft in the 4900 block of Old Orchard Center on May 18.
Daniela Kaja, 36, of the 6400 block of North Albany Avenue, Chicago, was arrested for retail theft in the 4900 block of Old Orchard Center on May 17.
Traffic
Iqbal H. Syed, 59, of the 8300 block of Monticello Avenue, Skokie, was arrested for DUI and driving in the wrong lane in the 9500 block of Gross Point Road on May 20.
Alex M. Chungu, 28, of the 9100 block of Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, was arrested for DUI in the 5200 block of Touhy Avenue on May 16.
Justin M. Smith, 26, of the 10000 block of Frontage Road, Skokie, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving in the 4000 block of Old Orchard Road, Evanston, on May 17.
Ney Cordeiro, 35, of the 2500 block of Drake Avenue, Chicago, was arrested for driving without a valid license in the 5000 block of Warren Street on May 19.
Batzorig Ravzana, 49, of the 5300 block of West Winona Street, Chicago, was arrested for driving without a permit in the 8700 block of Skokie Boulevard on May 19.
Intimidation
There was a reported intimidation in the 5100 block of Brown Street on May 23 in which a former employee took control of the victim’s online business information and is demanding payment for release of the information.
Theft by Deception
There was a reported theft by deception in the 4700 block of Golf Road on May 23 in which the victim spoke with someone via the Internet and was scammed out of money.
Motor Vehicle Thefts
A 2016 Infiniti was stolen from a parking garage in the 4900 block of Old Orchard Center on May 20.
A vehicle was stolen from the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, it was reported on May 21. Make and model were not given.
A 2020 Ford Explorer with a key inside was stolen from the 7900 block of Kedvale Avenue, it was reported on May 21. The vehicle was later recovered.
