Golfing is great exercise but Macomb County Habitat for Humanity’s annual Home-In-One Golf Outing at Greystone Golf Club in Washington Township on June 19 has many other benefits.
“By participating in our golf outing, you’ll not only enjoy a fantastic day on the green at the picturesque Greystone Golf Club- you’ll contribute to our mission of building homes, communities, and hope for families in need throughout Macomb County,” said Helen Hicks, president and CEO of Macomb Habitat. Your involvement will directly impact the lives of hardworking individuals and families, helping them achieve the dream of safe and affordable homeownership.”

How about making it a company event. Instead of hosting a picnic gather up a team from work or business partners and spend the day indulging in friendly competition, laughter and great company.
The annual event features exciting contests and prizes. Whether you’re an experienced golfer or new to the game, everyone has a chance to win big. From longest drive challenges to closest-to-the-pin competitions, there will be plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills and take home fabulous prizes.
Being the popular event that it is Habitat’s golfing fundraiser also serves as an excellent networking opportunity.
“Connect with like-minded individuals, local business leaders, and community influencers who share your passion for making a positive impact,” Hicks said.
Cost for the outing is $150 each or $550 for a fourseome.
This includes 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast at 8 a.m., hot dog meal at the turn, dinner after the event along with two drink tickets and prizes.
Those who cannot golf might also consider becoming a sponsor for the event, which provides an opportunity to gain valuable exposure for your business while supporting a great cause that combines the love for golf with a purpose-driven event that transforms lives.
“Register your team today and secure your spot! Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community one swing at a time,” Hicks sid.
