Leicester betting tips

3.30: Maxi Boy 9/1 each-way

Top weight but is stepping back in grade and is an interesting runner trained by Michael Bell, with Oisin Murphy booked this time.

Hasn’t been seen since September 2021 and was gelded just last month, long break to contend with but might be dangerous as a result.

4.00: Theatre Honours 11/8

James Doyle employed to ride this Godolphin horse but was on board when a solid second to Quddwah, who has now been given a rating of 95.

Theatre Honours was just under two lengths off that winner and as a Kingman gelding, should improve on his second run.

Lingfield betting tips

7.00: Dark Kestrel 10/11

Trainers John & Thady Gosden have an incredible strike rate on the all-weather when three-year-olds this season, with 12 winners from just 51 runners in total and an even better strike rate with four-year-olds.

They’re in-form recently too with 12 winners in 39 giving a 31% strike-rate.

If that’s not enough when they combine with Robert Havlin on the all-weather their success rate is even higher!

Dark Kestel won on his first appearance back from a wind op and should be even better than that today, with the tongue tie retained.
