Tekashi 6ix9ine was rushed to a hospital via ambulance Tuesday evening in Florida after he was jumped by a group of men in the sauna of an LA Fitness.
The Stoopid artist was beaten ‘to a pulp’ in the ambush, his attorney Lance Lazzaro told TMZ.
The 26-year-old rap artist, who did not have security on hand at the time, did his best to defend himself but was outnumbered by his attackers, his lawyer said.
The Bushwick, New York native was rushed to a nearby medical facility after people heard the ruckus and the manager of the facility contacted police and emergency services.
The Fefe artist, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was seen in a photo obtained by the outlet with a swollen face and a gash near his cheek. Insiders told the outlet that his jaw, ribs and back were also injured in the violent incident.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer said he will contact federal authorities to coordinate added security in the wake of the attack.
The rapper last month was seen in an Instagram post in which he showed off a metal case containing stacks of cash.
The artist was released from custody from federal prison early in 2020 following his 2019 sentence in connection with racketeering.
He had faced numerous charges including racketeering, attempted murder, possession of a firearm and assault with a weapon. He had faced a 47-year minimum sentence and maximum of life in prison in the case.
The musical artist reached a plea bargain in the case, in which he was accused of multiple crimes while a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
As part of his plea bargain, Tekashi 6ix9ine testified against multiple gang members.
It was not immediately clear if the incident at LA Fitness Tuesday was linked to his past legal issues and conduct.
