Royal Caribbean’s newest vessel won’t set sail until 2024 but it’s already making waves. When it embarks on its maiden voyage in two years, the Icon of the Seas will be the world’s largest cruise ship. At 1,200-feet-long, the Icon will have 20 decks with more than 40 restaurants and seven pools. The family-friendly ship will also have the largest water park at sea, including a 46-foot-tall free-fall slide.
For a true peak skiing experience, there’s no topping a private ski club. Those in the market for a new superyacht are headed to Florida this week for the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs through October 30 and showcases the most extravagant, state-of-the-art vessels. Among the largest yachts at the Fort Lauderdale boat show this year are Coral Ocean, a 238-foot-long Lurssen yacht with a master suite that includes a sauna, and Oceano, 164-foot-long Mangusta yacht with two infinity pools.
