The Kansas City Chiefs tight end responded to an Instagram video montage from NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, which featured the broadcaster making plenty of not-so-subtle Swift puns during Kelce’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
“Well played Rich…. Well played,” Kelce, 33, wrote in the comments section, adding an emoji of clapping hands and a crying face.
As seen in the video, Eisen couldn’t resist making references to the singer any time Kelce made a significant play that helped the Chiefs win 17-9 over the Jaguars.
“Even [with] that bone bruise and the injury, one would think is ‘delicate’ … he’s been able to ‘shake it off,’” Eisen quipped, referencing some of Swift’s most popular tracks.
“You saw it on Thursday night, when Travis Kelce wasn’t in there it left a ‘blank space,’ but I think he returns today and proves to be the ‘anti-hero.’”
Eisen added the NFL Network as a collaborator to the post and captioned it, “Look what you made me do, @killatrav.”
During a post-game interview last week, the Philadelphia Eagles star was asked to dish on his brother’s relationship status.
“So you talk about family, I have a 15-year-old daughter, and she’s a big fan of a certain pop star, and you have a family member — a brother — and I’ve been hearing rumors, maybe some stuff. Can you comment?” Football Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez asked Jason on “Thursday Night Football.”
“I’ve seen these rumors, I cannot comment. Ever since ‘Catching Kelce,’ everybody has been infatuated with Travis’ love life,” he explained. “I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Trav is having fun. We’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for Swift and Kelce for comment.
