This was probably the biggest race ever for the Downhill sports and as a team we were proud to see George Brannigan competing and have Kye A’Hern finishing a solid 17th position. Beyond the french podium sweep it’s the fans that made this day extra special so thank you!

There was one specific goal for the team this week. Making it down the hill and securing a solid result might not sound super ambitious, but we needed a consistent weekend to stabilize everything we have learned this year.

Lino was able to do just that, a solid 51st place in finals.

Now it’s all about recovering from an intense week in France and preparing for the final round of the World Cup in Val di Sole, Italy.

Well sports fans what a bloody day it was …ya girl JaNayNay bloody did it and won the rainbows! Unfortunately I had a few too many crashes and didn’t ride fast enough for the result I wanted but it was one hell of an event! Strap in and jump on for the best LSD yet! — Bernard Kerr

This had to be one of the most wild races of 2022. With the Rainbow Jersey on the line, riders put it all into one race for the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Championships 2022, but only two came across the finish line as newly crowned MTB world champions.— Red Bull

Farkinnn Super Bruni. That was just insane. He didn’t look super fast the first couple days, but it was crazy to see how He built his speed up over the whole weekend to peak for race run. Frenchies go 1, 2, 3, but our Boy Troy did sick in 4th coming back from injury. And shout out Olly Zwar in 6th!! Biggest crowd I have ever seen at a downhill race! France is hands down the best spot to have a mountain bike race!— Jack Moir

Gazzy B, is an enigma, “the man who can” and just an all-around good egg. We are very lucky to have him as part of the team and without him, the wheels would most definitely fall off (pun intended). From driving Big Red all over Europe to being mechanic stand-in when someone inevitably does themselves a mischieve (Husky), and most recently, another pair of line-spotting eyes on the hill. He is a Jack of all trades but a master of them all too. Also, he has absolutely fantastic locks – he could give Greg a run for his money. Take a gander with the team as we tackle the first day of World Champs, here in Les Gets. The track is insanely fast with a tonne of tech and off-camber to get everyone’s tongues wagging.
