Chelsea and Manchester City are the Premier League’s two representatives in the Champions League quarter-final. But when will the draw for the competitions remaining games take place?
After a 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig in the first leg of the Champions League last-16, Manchester City stamped their authority on their German opponents.
On Tuesday, Pep Guardiola’s side claimed an emphatic 7-0 win in the second leg, courtesy of five goals from Erling Haaland.
Meanwhile, Chelsea overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Borussia Dortmund with a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge, to relieve the pressure on Graham Potter.
The draw for the business end of the tournament will now take place, with each side finding out quarter-final and potential semi-final opponents.
The quarter-final draw will take place on Friday, March 17 at 11am GMT at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
It will be followed by the draw for the two-semi finals and another draw to determine which side of the draw will produce the home time for the final, due to take place in Istanbul.
The process will be broadcast on BT Sport in the UK while it can be streamed on UEFA.com.
Both the draws for the last-eight and last-four are open, meaning teams from the same country will be able to meet, while sides that played one another in the group stage can also be drawn together.
