BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It seems like anyone who wasn’t watching the NFL kick-off was over at SKyPAC for one of the absolute coolest events: a talk all about underwater archeology.
Warren County Public Library arranged for one of the world’s best-known oceanographers to visit Bowing Green.
Thursday night, Dr. Robert Ballard spoke about finding the R.M.S. Titanic’s wreckage among other discoveries.
He taught the eager onlookers about the latest ocean-exploring technology and made sure to inspire the young, wide-eyed kids in the audience
The WCPL is not stopping there. The Capitol will also feature Fox 56 News Crime Stoppers host Kristen Pflum later this month. In addition, author Dacre Stoker, the nephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker, and artist Mavis Staples will both be at the theater in October.
