The Hussey brothers have fired shots at each other in a hilarious exchange during the BBL clash between the Stars and Scorchers.

The Australian cricket greats took aim at each other and left commentators in stitches on Fox Cricket’s broadcast on Thursday night.

Mike Hussey was commentating alongside Brian Lara and Corbin Middlemas when they crossed to Stars coach David down on the boundary rope.

Here’s how their interaction played out, with both brothers thumbs firmly planted in cheek.

Mike: G’day David it’s your brother Michael here, merry Christmas.

David: You’re no brother of mine, you’re a disgrace of a human being, I’ve heard what you’ve been saying about me. You and I are finished.

Mike: I heard you were bagging me last time you were on commentary.

David: Yes, true.

Mike: Say G’day to mum for us.

David: She doesn’t like you mate, you’re out of the will. You’re out.

While it was all fun and games in the commentary booth, it was a disappointing end to the night on the field for Hussey‘s Stars, who went down in a six-wicket defeat.
