U.S. News & World Report has new high school rankings. Here are the Augusta area’s best.
One of the most popular school rankings in the nation has been updated to reflect schools’ 2024 stats.
U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best High Schools national rankings are those with students who achieved exemplary scores on state assessments for science, math, and reading, according to a news release from the media organization. These schools also had strong underserved student performance, college readiness and curriculum breadth, as well as high graduation rates.
So, looking at the Augusta area, which public schools were ranked the top in their respective districts and which, if any, were among the top in the state or even the nation? Here’s a closer look:
